Love Sunday is a live music band out of San Antonio, TX. Their current (2024) musical styles include Rock (80's, 90's, 00's), Pop, R&B, Jazz, Neo-Soul, Blues.
The Band originated at Randolph AFB, TX In March 2009, starting as a contemporary Christian band that played under the name "Christwave" from 2009-2012. The group initually started by playing for their churches and high school youth events, as well as being featured at Rock the Block Music Festival (2016) outside the University of Texas at San Antonio and the Guam Liberation in San Antonio, TX. In their words: “Our music is a gift, to not only express ourselves, but to inspire, encourage, and most of all, love.”
Original Band members include :
Rick Guerrero (Vocals/Guitar), Cedrick Quinene (Vocals/Drums), Robert Elefante (Piano/Vocals), Nolan Quinene (Bass), Storm Guevara (Lead Guitar), BG Aldover (Trumpet), Aaron Logan (Trumpet), Paul Marroquin (Drums/Percussion), Amanda Lee (Vocals).
Love Sunday would eventually make music with other members from 2014-2016, including Jacque Middlestadt (Vocals), Andy Goutz (Lead Guitar/Vocals), & Tabby Horn (Trumpet) before performing their last gig in 2016.
In Apr. 2015 Rick would produce a Solo acoustic album "This is what my heart sounds like.." and is available on most Streaming platforms (Apple Music, Spotify, Soundcloud, etc)
Several members including Rick G., and Paul Marroquin would get together and help Storm in forming Kaya Kotura, a island/cali reggae group in SATX. Current members of Kaya Kotura are Storm Guevara (Vocals/Guitar), Joel Longoria (guitar), Aaron Cooper (drums), Alex Cooper (keys), and Bradley Brock (Bass).
In October of 2018, Love Sunday was reborn with new members:

Blake Jackson (Piano/Vocals)
Pablo Riverroll (Bass) *not pictured
Tim Soriano (Drums)
Early into the Love Sunday rebuild Pablo would end up relocating. On May 29th, 2019 Love Sunday would later announce (via Instragram) that Andy Stahlman would come in and replace Pablo and the Bass guitar.
This group would regularly go on to perform music twice an month at the Lion & Rose Pub at the Rim (located in NW San Antonio) until Mar. 2020. Coronavirus would end the group in March 2020.
During the Covid-19 outbreak, Blake & Rick would continue performing and supplying music at their local church until Covid-19 died (around 2022).
Rick & Blake would perform under the moniker "R&B - Rick & Blake". Until recently (Apr. 2024), when they would decide to perform under the "Love Sunday" name once again. During this time Love Sunday would also recruit Jesus Vasquez for DJ (originally Bass) and Cain Green on Trumpet.
